Leadership Mastery – From self to team excellence

This online Leadership Development Programme is aimed at Middle Managers in leadership positions within the recruitment profession. All the concepts within the course will be relevant to managers/leaders working in recruitment and are designed to enable them to develop their personal and professional leadership capacity.
Each session will be 4 hours in duration and will comprise of a mix of:

WORKSHOP 1
Understanding My Leadership
The focus of this session will be to enable participants to critically engage with how they currently lead, the areas of their management and leadership practise that they wish to improve as well as exploring ways to maximise more of their inner potential in how they lead, manage and influence others.
– Critically engaging with current leadership and management practices
– Distinguishing between leadership and management
– Exploring role identity as managers/leaders
– Surveying the current recruitment sector landscape and accompanying leadership challenges
WORKSHOP 2
Leading My People
This will focus on the area of coaching for performance. It will help managers ti explore how to get the best from their people by adopting a facilitative leadership approach that places an emphasis on using coaching skills to unlock performance and provoke breakthroughs in the thinking and behaviour of people they lead.
– Coaching for performance – current challenges and opportunities
– Understanding growth Vs fixed mindsets
– The principles of coaching and the GROW Model
– Coaching skills practice
WORKSHOP 3
Maximising the Potential of my Team
Building on previous sessions, this workshop will focus on the challenge of leading a team. The session will include an opportunity for recruitment managers to explore a number of teams including:
– Exploring the challenges of leading a team within recruitment organistions
– Models and Tools for conceptualising high performing teams
– Critically engaging with current team performance
– Identifying team performance enablers and inhibitors

David Duggan is a passionate and energetic Executive Coach and Training & Development Practitioner with over 10 years’ experience designing and delivering customised leadership and organisational development programmes.
