This course is aimed at recruiters who interview or screen candidates, or anyone who needs to offer their clients training and advice on hiring/interviewing.

Enhance the skills of Recruiters so they can prep their candidates for interviews sufficiently, interview their own candidates and advise their clients on up-to-date interview techniques and best practice.
The session will focus on the following topics:
– Interview skills (with a focus on skills-based)
– Competency-based and hypothetical interviews
– STAR and CARL method
– 9 legal grounds for discrimination in Ireland (what is/isn’t appropriate to ask candidates)
– Unconscious Bias / Culture Add
You will leave having gained confidence in interviewing your candidates more appropriately and managing Unconscious Bias more effectively on a day-to-day basis.

**The sessions will be delivered by Ciara Spillane – she is a Coach , Facilitator and Trainer who has over 20 years experience within Recruitment, working for global companies such as Hays, Google and Microsoft. She holds a Masters in Coaching Psychology and Positive Psychology and is currently studying for a Masters in Psychology and Mental Health. She is a popular speaker at career, leadership and well-being events and a regular contributor to the Irish Times, Irish Independent and other publications.
