CONTENT

This course is designed to support recruitment professionals and managers in looking at their own practices through an inclusive lens: from how roles are advertised and candidates are attracted, to the recruitment and interview process, onboarding and ongoing management. It focuses on practical ways to identify and remove barriers, adapt recruitment practices where needed, and create a more inclusive experience for disabled candidates and employees.

About the trainer:

Seltec Training is a specialist professional and personal development training provider that focuses on Disability & Neurodiversity Inclusion and Workplace Safety. An Introduction to Inclusive Recruitment and Management will be delivered by Eimear Allen, the director of Seltec Training. Eimear is a Registered Intellectual Disabilities Nurse with a strong passion for creating truly inclusive spaces where everyone can participate, contribute and thrive. She brings a unique combination of clinical, recruitment and training experience to her work in inclusion.

Having worked in recruitment for two years, Eimear has first-hand experience of the recruitment process and the importance of creating accessible and inclusive pathways into employment. In 2025, she won a Graduate of the Year Award from the ERF Cert in Recruitment Practice.

Eimear has been delivering training across a range of areas since 2023 and now works with organisations across a number of sectors, supporting them to better understand disability, remove barriers and create more inclusive environments for disabled people.
