AI Workflows for the Recruitment Desk

AI Workflows for the Recruitment Desk
(with NOMAD AI/Ben Barrett)
CONTENT
Build working, reusable workflows using your desk’s own CVs, specs, clients and data.
Two demos, one Live build, every week.
WHAT’S COVERED
Week 1. Workflow foundations + Safe & Compliant AI
-
– Quick portal tour and what a workflow is: role, inputs, steps, outputs and checks.
-
– Why workflows outlast prompts and create consistent results.
-
– Live build: turn a client call note into a structured job brief.
-
– EU AI Act in practice: recruitment AI as high-risk and defining the AI assist vs human decision line.
-
– Candidate data, anonymisation, and transparency with candidates and clients.
-
– Start a one-page compliance note to build on throughout the programme.
-
– 2nd live build: convert a regret email into an automated candidate-care sequence.
-
– Homework: Create a workflow map, identify the two biggest time-consuming tasks, and submit one anonymised example of each to shape weeks 2–4.
Sessions 2 – 4:
20 minutes on what broke, 2 pre-built demos run on own material, then 50 minutes guided ‘build’ session where attendees assemble their own version, on their own files.
Week 2. The Candidate Side – your magic buttons
-
– Demo: CV importer — convert messy PDFs or LinkedIn exports into your house CV template.
-
– Demo: process CVs in batches and turn job specs into channel search strings and talent-pool maps.
-
– Live build: create your own CV importer using your firm’s template.
-
– Homework: Run 20 real CVs through the workflow and track the time saved.
Week 3. The Client Side – BD, outreach + comms at scale
-
– Demo: BD signal scan → account brief → personalised outreach sequence using real client examples from the group.
-
– Demo: spec-to-pitch workflow → turn a filled role into a candidate-availability mailer that generates client responses.
-
– Live build: members create the first workflow from their own workflow map, using a draft prepared between sessions.
-
– Homework: Use the workflow on a real assignment and record the responses received.
Week 4. Reporting, then make it permanent
-
– Demo: Turn an anonymised ATS/CRM export into a weekly pipeline report and client review one-pager.
-
– Live build: bring the previous four weeks together into a configured Claude workspace for each desk.
-
– Add custom instructions, compliance guidance, prompt libraries and templates as embedded knowledge.
-
– Showcase: each attendee presents one of their workflows to the group in a three-minute demonstration.
-
– Measure impact by reviewing time-saved logs and producing a quantified result for ERF and Skillnet reporting.
