Thanks to everyone who attended our first Breakfast Briefing of 2020 in the Contracting PLUS HQ on 16th January.
Kevin Green, Founder and CEO of the What's Next Consultancy in the UK was an engaging speaker and covered the topic of Competitive People Strategy and 'How People who compete with their people win every time!'.
He had a wealth of advice to offer recruiters in what he described as the 'full blown talent crisis' within the current changing jobs market. 85% of a business' value is derived from intangibles: this = people. He spoke about how we need to focus on inspiring and motivating staff / clients in order for businesses to succeed.
He also touched on the Golden Circle of a business' success; that it isn't how and what a business does or says......it's why they do it, why they do they do.....this is the true key to their success.
Kevin was full of very relatable anecdotes from the business world, drawing on his extensive experience and he touched a chord with all of us in attendance.
