Mary Seery Kearney is a practicing barrister, specialising in labour/employment law, civil law and corporate governance.
Mary has trained, written and represented a number of companies in the Recruitment sector with regard to the application of the legislative requirements governing the profession.

Mary will give the delegates an insight into some of the cases that are and have been in the courts since the directifve was passed into law. As a former CEO, Mary’s perspective reflects the daily practical application of the legislative provisions influenced by the consequences of and obligations arising from recent case law affecting the profession. At the end of the presentation she will  take questions from the floor.

Graduating from Trinity College Dublin and Kings Inns in law, philosophy and psychology; she is a legal advisor to a number of organisations that include employers, special interest groups, the trade union movement as well as representing individuals interests. Mary has advised and written submissions for the Constitutional Convention.  Mary is also the Academic Director and lectures in Law, Business, and Industrial Relations at GMB College.
