Alison Comyn is an IFTA-winning journalist and broadcaster, a former news anchor with Sky News in London, as well as a journalist with Independent News & Media in Ireland.
She is also a communications consultant with international expertise of over 27 years, training groups and individuals from a wide range of organisations and established Alison Comyn Communications in 2017. Using tools and techniques mined from decades of personal and hands-on experience with companies like BBC, Sky News, Channel 4, RTÉ and UTV Ireland to name a few, she is ideally placed to train in all aspects of communication and presentation skills.
She is an experienced MC and moderator, and has chaired the World Employment Conference, Employment & Recruitment Federation annual conference and Davy Stockbrokers Conference to name a few.
Alison has also been a reporter with BBC Newsline and Sky News Ireland, is a regular contributor on Newstalk’s ‘The Hard Shoulder’ and ‘Down to Business’, and ‘Today’ on RTE 1, and was shortlisted for Regional Journalist of the Year at the NNI Awards, and lectures in Investigative Journalism for the University of Wolverhampton.
